  1. I still don't buy that you are a Nebraska fan. Your grammar and lack of capitalization look just like rcruiter. Can mods do IP checks here? Being scared to schedule Boise State has little to do with anything. Boise talks like they will play anyone, anywhere . . . but they will only play anyone, anywhere if that school agrees to a home and home AND pays them around 1.5 million dollars. If you really want to gain respect, do home and homes like the big boys. Don't demand large payments. damn bro whats with the hate? its okay tho i wont hold it against you were cool....all im saying is i wanna see nebraska go toe to toe with a few more big name schools. For entertainment purposes i believe we have a great program and i want it showcased on national tv on a consistant basis and the only way to do that is by scheduling tougher opponents that all
  2. that is a very tough back to back...you know i think part of it is big name school being scared to schedule Boise State...i mean even look at Nebraska...for example Florida Atlantic, Arkansas State, Louisiana Lafayette...for real? i mean if you want a cake walk first game of the year i get that but lets grow some balls here and schedule a Minnesota, Iowa, Boise State on a yearly basis
  3. sweet!! i like this....finally boise state is going to start scheduling some tough games, i realize they did open the season vs Oregon but other then that game they pretty much had a cake walk schedule
  4. very true....Missouri can only blame themselves for that loss....in the end Nebraska really went on a roll after that game and is by far the better team
  5. I am not a Missouri fan i just think you need to take your Nebraska shades off and admit that Missouri had out played them for 3 quarters...they held onto the ball a lot longer then Nebraska did and played the field position game and pinned Nebraska deep for much of the game, i just don't understand how a coach doesn't sit down with Blaine and relax him and draw up some simple plays he was playing gimpy with no confidence after that INT. That being said Nebraska has one heck of a defense and really made Missouri look bad offensively for that 4th quarter and like you said football is 4 quarters and Nebraska out coached Missouri and won
  6. ahhh.....so refreshing to see your vast knowledge of football (and the english language) back on display here on huskerboard. may i remind you that you are speaking so highly of school that just got humbled by a service academy. Not to mention, this particular service academy's game plan is written on opposing coaches foreheads weeks before the game. now lets talk recruiting. mu's class is as good as they've ever had. it also has very few defensive recruits, very similar to how nu's class lacks offensive recruits. if you knew your team or our team, you would realize the number of returning players (defense for mu and offense for nu) is why the classes are filled that way. pelini is not a bad offensive recruiter. he picked the guys we have because that's what we need. as far keeping our committed recruits.....it might help we we stayed away from 1 family......considering we only had one other decommit (CC - which most nu fans will tell you is just fine). i for one say you might want to take off your black and gold colored spectacles and come back to earth. you can have the skill players you speak of if they can make grades...it's very well known that 2 of your 4 kids most likely will not be on campus next year. i'll take my defense over your vastly superior (?) skill players any day. you want to know how bad your defense is? like the above poster said, the worst offense nu's had in decades, out-gained your skill players in rushing and passing. your team let nu score 27 points in a frickin monsoon. wow.....i'd be a little more reserved when talking smack my friend. bro how can you say that nebraska wasn't getting there ass handed to them for 3 quarters of that game, offensively they could not move the ball and the only reason Mizzou lost that game was the same reason that original poster mentioned a completely stupid offensive coordinator. After the Blaine Gabbert threw that first INT he was rattled and nebraska smelled blood and attacked him with everything they got!!! im telling you if Mizzou stuck to a simple game plan and ran the ball out in the 4th quarter they would of won
