  1. All I have to say to Texas fans. Karma's a b*tch.
  2. I agree. I don't think is Green is quite ready to be handed the reigns yets, and Martinez is at best a wildcat qb this year. I think the reason Lee was so terrible last year was his injury. If comes into the season healthy and confident I think he'll be our best chance to win.
  3. Solid post! I'm with you on the majority of your picks. Niles Paul is arguably one of the top five wideouts going in to next season. I also think Brandon Kinnie is very good. I think he has the size and talent to play in the NFL someday. Khiry Cooper's routes are fluent and he has very good hands which is why i feel he'll be a pretty good player for us. My fourth choice at wideout is Quincy Enunwa. I have a really good feeling about him. I feel that he can contribute this year. I think the depth chart could look something like this: Z: Niles Paul, Antonio Bell, Joe Broekemeier X: Brandon Kinnie, Quincy Enunwa, Tim Marlowe Y: Khiry Cooper, Will Henry, Stanley Jean-Baptiste H: Mike McNeil, Currenski Gilleylen, KC Hyland If Paul can consistantly play up to the level he is capable of and not make bonehead mistakes, he is easily one the top 10 receivers, possibly top 5.
  4. Prepare for the backlash from older Sker fans that think friend'ing players on facebook is freaky, childish, and should be outlawed. When I was in college I did it. It's fun to be friends with Huskers, and that is a scientific fact! Hey if you go to UNL, you can just say that you're friending classmates.
  5. Yeah if our offense goes into relapse we could be in trouble.
  6. makes...sense... If Nebraska starts in the top ten - I'm a happy boy. (Last time NU was in the top ten - Oct. 2003 for 1 week) Top five and ahead of Texas. All the better. Number 1! Pushing it? I'll never admit it. I'm sure if we started the season #1 nobody would be complaining.
  7. Exactly. Mack Brown doesnt even need to exert as much effort into recruiting as our staff does. Mack Brown is nothing but a dirty old man that looks like he just brushed his teeth with a stick of butter. All i could find was 06-07, but suprisingly they spend almost as much money... Nebraska $1,275,000 Texas - $1,156,800 You'd think with them not having to travel to find recruits it would be A LOT less. Maybe it's not for traveling. Most of that money was probably used at strip clubs
  8. I saw a photo and it had a player touching the horseshoe, and I'm pretty sure that will be pretty much it.
  9. Don't forget that Neil Smith also won 2 Super Bowls with the Broncos. nobody cares about the broncos they're better than the jaguars
  10. At least now we don't have to worry about Suh always getting penalize for tackling too hard.
  11. People sitting in the East student section are given wristbands. Why? There are student sections in the east and south sides of the stadium and the East section is the most sought after. So to prevent student from the South section to go sit in the East section, student in the East student section are required to wear wristbands.

  13. If we are up with the game in hand, I wonder if Bo would call a timeout with :01 left on the clock? That would be effing hilarious. thats what i meant lol Have the qb throw the ball out of bounds with :01 on the clock and then have Bo raise one finger. That would be awesome. Yeah, his middle finger. I knew someone was gonna say that I was going add "and not the one you're thinking of" but I was like what the hell, eff Texas.

  15. Suh will be the 17th person to have his jersey retired.
  16. Its july. On July 5th, 2009, Owa's thread was on post #23. Yeah, but Owa also waited til Signing Day to decide. If AG commits in the next couple of weeks, we're gonna need a lot of filler to beat Owa's thread. I understand that.. But how much longer do you think the OWA thread would of been with all the OMG WE GOT HIM.. and "N" posts? we'll get at least 4-6 pages of that alone.. plus with the speculation of decommitting etc, it has a chance, even if he commits before august. I agree that it still has a chance, it's just that there won't be as much drama since signing day is so far away. As signing day approaches, it might heat up a little just for the fact that he might sign elsewhere, but if we have a good season, I don't think we will have to worry too much. Don't count your chickens way before they hatch. But for real that's what you'd call a teaser. Either Aaron's none too conscious of the things he says to the Rivals people...or he really is ready to end the process. Oh I think we all know this is far from a done deal. All I was saying was that the earlier he commits (us or not) the less likely it will be to beat Owa's thread (if he doesn't decommit).

  19. So what happened to having this thread beating Owa's?
  20. Osborne looks a little like Andy Griffith.
  21. I don't think that is anything new, but it is a new article on ESPN from NoleInsider.com In the ESPN article, Aaron says that he isn't in any rush to commit and he isn't going to give in to any schools pressuring him to commit early. Looks like Texas' ultimatums aren't going to work on him.
  22. Since we are leaving the Big 12 in one year, we have to give back 90% of our Big 12 revenue. If we weren't leaving till the 2012 season, then we would only have to give back 50% of our revenue for the two years.
