  1. I have ridiculously high hopes for Brion Carnes, since I have heard he's been tearing it up in practice this year, I have no doubt he will be the clear cut 2nd QB next year, I fully expect him to push Taylor next spring and fall to be the starter, like I said I loved his film and what he can bring to the table I'm very high on him.
  2. That's awesome, I really hope we are in it when it comes down to his final 2 or 3, he could be a special football player.
  3. Anybody got any suggestions? Wayne Lyons
  4. Are we considered out in front for him/leader?
  5. David Santos's brother Ryan, he's a 2012er Thanks
  6. So Charles Jackson has a younger brother we are interested in too?
  7. I think it's a big deal, I want Braylon just as bad as Aaron Green those 2 could make such a dirty backfield in the Big 10 with that big play ability and speed, and Rex will be great to still have, but those 2 rotating in and out, that could be very special.
  8. Was Keith Jackson a guy in the national media that actually liked Nebrsaka?
  9. Wow what's up with this Daniel Davie hate, I think he may have the potential to be as good as any other in state recruit in this class, with his speed and the fact that we could use him at WR or S, I personally want to see him return a kick or 2 as well, I know I want to see this kid play.
  10. I was wondering the exact same thing, when are we gonna start seeing some LB we've been looking to get start making a move I mean season's already over halfway over and not a lot to show recruiting wise from LB, and obviously DL could use some work too.
  11. In the words of T.O. get your popcorn ready!

    Jay Guy

We prolly won't see Jay Guy this year, but I really like him, may not be the biggest, fastest, strongest, but he could be a solid player down the road if he keeps working on getting into shape the way he has since he got here.
  13. Any word yet on whether people will have the opportunity to watch Aaron make his decision live?
  14. I sure hope Wayne still gives us a solid look come this winter, it'll help if we finish really strong, I hope we don't miss the chance on a guy who could be the next Eric Berry.
  15. Maybe he'll do a one hour special on ESPN to announce where he's going to take his talents.
  16. Look for Brandon Kinnie to catch not one but two TD's in this football game on Saturday he's big and strong, he can go up and get the football and Taylor likes him, BK will have a big day.
  17. I think the biggest thing that most people are upset about with Watson and I'm one of them is that when we play those top defenses we don't see the adjustments made that most people would like to see made. When something isn't working you have to look at what will, and possibly expand your playbook, now I know that you have to consinder personnel when doing this, but when you become so predictable against one of the best defensive coordinators in college football you have to able to find a way to expand your offense and make changes.
  18. I think people are starting to realize and I've seen it said before that our personnel has changed from last year that our D-Line is not the same, Crick and Baker are not the same run stoppers that Suh and Crick were, Crick isn't able to make the plays this year b/c he's getting more attention, and our LB run stopping isn't as good, I think Lavonte is a great LB, All-Big 12 caliber if he was used more like a Von Miller from A&M, but the way Phillip was able to stop the run last and control that middle was missed Saturday, and most of us would take Matt O'Hanlon's ability to tackle over Rickey Thenarse. I think the coaches could look into their personnel and find a better way to use our guys.
  19. Saw it on ESPN very sad, hopefully him and his family can stay strong and get through this very tough moment in their life and are able to come out stronger from this.
  20. Keys to the game for more me would be: Pressure Garrett Gilbert, he's proven to be a below average QB with guys in his face and Texas this year seems to be a little soft up front on the line, but if you give him time to step up and make a big throw he can hurt you, don't give this kid time in the pocket b/c that's when he will be lethal. Pound it at Texas, with Rex and Roy in the backfield Taylor doesn't have to bust a big run or try to do it himself every play, people say Nebraska hasn't been hit the mouth yet, well that's b/c our lineman have a done a great job all year long with their physical play, if they play physical and contain Sam Acho and the rest of that D-Line and create holes for our backs they both could have a big day. My next point is keep those big plays coming, this is a team that quit against UCLA in the final quarter and never really got to the same level as Oklahoma the score was closer than the game I thought, this is a young team that will get down on themselves if they give Nebraska a couple big plays. Set the tone against them and they will struggle. Finally limit turnovers and create a couple, Prince is due for an int. and against Texas receivers who are a little down this year still trying to find that new Jordan Shipley, Malcolm Williams isn't doing as much as they thought he would so this is the perfect game to lockdown on receivers, and going back to earlier putting pressure on Gilbert forcing him into some bad throws and mistakes will be key, and for Nebraska keep the ball off the turf, and Taylor Martinez don't try to force anything that isn't there and make sure he reads his coverages and isn't throwing into heavy traffic or trying to make throws he can't make.
  21. O.k. I'm glad this kid finally came to his senses but what in the world was that whole UCONN thing about could someone please help me with that one.
