    Worked almost every weekend last month to save up some extra money and get settled. This month had enough unexpected expenses that it neutralized all the extra work I did last month. That stuffs depressing.

      What NUance said. I was swamped with bills earlier this year, seemed like I couldn't save a thing.. now I'm slowly building up my savings. My personal advice is to have an automatic transfer to a savings account setup. That way you never see the money to spend it in the first place. Indo 200 bucks a week, minimum right now.

      My wife HATES thaat I spend so much on paying off our credit cards. Doesn't grasp that minimum payments do jack squat.
