    Question. Work for trivia company as moonlighting. I also play in a league they run. Qualified for league championship. They called me to host championship, said no because I'm in it. Told I can't compete cause I'm a host. None of my paperwork/handbooks say I can’t compete. What are my options?

      Hmm..I would recommend Charlie Kelly but his expertise is in bird law.

       

      Sounds like an organization that hasn't thought enough through. Do they contest flyers have stipulations that your employment handbook doesn't?

      Nope, they do not. I reviewed all the promo material, the instructions for hosts, the employee handbook, my contract. None of it lists this as a prohibited action.

      It's really weird (and likely boils down to bad management) that they would encourage you to play in the regionals and then ban you from the championship.
