For me, besides seeing up close the turnaround he's done at UCF... it's the stuff he wrote in 2005. If that's how he really feels, then he "gets it" and seems like the #1 guy.

I think getting our clear #1 guy would be huge for morale across the board right now. It's the win we really need. Moos seems fine, but I don't know if you can make the case he was our clear #1 (he might've been). HCSF checks all the boxes right now. He's won everywhere he's been (sans the NFL as a safety), he's turned around a program, he has the right attitude, he's a Husker.  

It's a no brainer. The only question is, does he think his winning formula will work in Nebraska. That's the question that determines if we get him or not IMO. 

If we offer him, we get, I have very little doubt on that. Nebraska comes up in his press conferences fairly routinely, it's obvious he still loves this state.
