I had 8 people at my wedding (me, bride, my mom & dad, bride's mom & dad, officiant, photographer).  I would recommend that to anyone.  Planning was a breeze!

Or even easier and cheaper. Don't get married! 

@ZRod I feel like every time I mention my Fiance, you or someone else is urging me to not get married. Don't worry, I'll still be around to moderate the forum. Y'all can't get rid of me that easily. 

@Red Five tempting, but not really an option. We both like celebrating with the people who are in our lives (plus family politics). The main problem is she lives one place, I live another, and we're getting married in a third.
