Do not get me started on HR!

    They are soooo bad.

Being in IT and having to work with HR might be the absolute worst thing ever. I make someone else in my area work with them.

IT guys get a bad wrap because some of us have horrible people skills. Thankfully I don't have to deal with end users much but there are some really funny interactions with the help desk and end users.

Huh, even everyone’s favorite site now finally wants to get kids back in school.  Now finally wanting follow science.  It’s as if many on the left actively chose not to follow the science since early fall when people like myself were constantly advocating for it.

Change in Administration so change in news narrative I guess

Maybe if our last president didn't make all this so political from the start, we wouldn't have articles like this.

Also, I hope some day we can get past the phrase "follow science" or whatever form of the phrase people use and stop using it as a political tool.

Some day I really hope that we as a country we can understand that from start to finish situations like this are are fluid.

Who will count the 30 pills that go in the brownish container?!?!?!?  Uggggg

    (I kid, I kid)

As long as it is in multiples of 5.

Obviously those involved with the Pfizer vaccine didn't consult a pharmacists for the vials because there are 6 doses per vial.

Trust me, I am a public health worker. Please get out of your car so I can stick you with this needle.

I am only joking. I have friends that are pharmacist that are dealing with the storage temperature demands of these vaccines. Having this on top of their duties isn't that much fun. I am sure it is better than constantly calling insurance companies and getting yelled at by customers.

This is a good piece to keep in mind. I hope the Jags return to relevance, but I am not holding my breath.

It would have been interesting to see what happens to Saban if Miami landed Drew Brees. Also, it would have been interesting if Rich Rod wouldn't have turned down Bama. Spurrier was never going to be successful in the NFL.

At the end of the day I was happy with had a college season.  I think 3 of the right teams made it to the playoff.  I enjoy CFB no matter how bad Nebraska is or how bad the whole season was messed up.  Alabama is a solid program.  Amazing how Waddle wanted to play in an era where kids are opting out left and right.

Alabama is a great combination of talent, development, culture and heart.

Are people in your area of Ohio upset about the OSU game or are they still riding the high from the Browns playoff game? Most people I talked to came to the same conclusion as me. OSU got their butts kicked by a much better team. I think the only way OSU would have won that game last night is if Young, Dobbins, and others came back for one last year.

Not to mention that Parler was dumb enough to only remove deleted items from VIEW...not from their servers.  It flagged something deleted with a toggled bit...but didn't delete the item.

So every deleted video, post, etc. is all available.

Dumb? I assume that is how most services operate.

Every uploaded video contains metadata on where it was recorded, how it was recorded, and when it was recorded.  Many accounts were 'verified' and had drivers license information attached.

All that information, every post...and even every deleted post...has been archived and will be provided to law enforcement officials.

Parler left one of their API's open and allowed the creation of administrative accounts without verification through it.  In other words, they were less secure than just about any service or website out there.  This information can and probably will be used to track down many a moron who participated in the insurrection.

If some of the staunch Trump supporters here posted bad things on Parler...I hope they're ready for the fallout.

If someone was smart enough to remove the metadata or not have the sensors of their phone recording the metadata, that might make it more difficult to pinpoint stuff. However, most people don't mess with those settings or scrub it from the media file.

And now there is more 1 loss teams getting a mulligan.  The only thing the playoff 'fixed' was an undefeated power 5 team will always get a chance to win her way.  So no repeats of 1997.  At the cost of the weight of games.  Bama could have rested their starters against Florida and still been guaranteed their playoff slot.  Bama did not have that luxury before.

Before week 1 ~50% (65 G5 teams) of the team in FBS do not have a shot at the playoffs. After week one ~25% of the P5 teams don't have a shot at the playoffs. But please, tell me how much the regular season matters and how meaningless it would be if everyone had an actual shot to make it to the playoffs at the start of the season. The bowls outside of the playoff don't mean anything now (never really did) and players are opting out. Just wait until that starts happening in the regular season in a non covid year. I would rather have a Cincinnati vs Tulsa game actually mean something and I am sure those schools would like that as well. The bowl system and mythical national championship was dumb and political from the start. We don't need to continue on with this stupidity.

Oh oh.  Hope they (OSU) can get this squared away.

I am sure they have positive test for the past 6 weeks. However, they have been practicing the last two days. I assume they wouldn't bring in the team in to the Woody if they didn't plan on playing on the 11th.

the regular season was diluted with the invention of the college football playoff. Once fatal slip-ups are now granted a mulligan so the 1-loss team can still win her way to the national title.  Compare USC losing at Oregon State to Clemson losing to Syracuse.  Doubling the playoff to 8 teams as you seem to be advocating grants everyone two mulligans.  Just win your conference OR be higher than the SEC#3.  AT that point I'd say the regular season is effectively irrelevant to 95% of the games.

The regular season was and is irrelevant for most of college football teams. You only want it to be relevant for at most 10 teams every year since I can only assume you think ND is one of those teams. The fact that we have a system that is political that doesn't allow teams like Cincinnati or UCF play for a national championship only keeps the old guard at the top. Play 11 regular season games plus a conference championship game and have an expanded playoff. I am sorry if you think giving up a FCS school somehow dilutes the regular season or if a team loses a game. We don't have to act like it is 1955 and the bowl system really matters. Let these schools actually play for a walnut and bronze trophy. You don't get this type of complaining in any other NCAA sport at any level.

Rummaging through the 2 loss bin would expose too much.  It would be shouting that the season doesn't actually matter and that G5 schools will never be given a chance.

P5 conference champions (I don't care about the record) get in along with at least 1 G5 team. It deceases that complaining and politics of all this. Why are we still having this discussion about "all the regular season games should matter"? They obviously don't now.

The top 4 have been remarkably stable throughout the brief history of the CFP.  Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma.  If one those four has a regular season putting them at #4 then they have the same chance.

That doesn't change the pecking order.  Anyone you put at #4 {Texas A&M, Cincinnati, Liberty, Iowa State} gets beat down.

Maybe so but we really don't know how a 8 team playoff would change the landscape of college football. We can only guess but I think we would have a little bit more parity over time.

    Same as it ever was.

That being said most coaches would gladly stop the season at 6-0.  There are injuries in any game and halving the season helps.

I think most players and coaches want to play more than 6 games.  I am sure that OSU would have loved to hang 100 on Michigan this year.
