  1. I'd like to introduce you to the emoticons on the right side of the posting area. Sure as hell would help me out on deciphering your intents.
  2. Ohio's far enough away from Iowa that I never really concerned myself with it before. I always thought Hayden Frye was a good coach and decent guy. Ferentz used to have my respect, but that's waned over time. Nonetheless, I think every state that touches Iowa makes fun of it.
  3. So, in that light, you can appreciate what he did for his players, and the men he made them into. I didn't ask about other teams. I asked you as a Husker fan. Bit of hyperbolic stretch, no?
  4. For me, I like the University of Minnesota. Had a great summer up there in '95. However, Dave Winfield and his teammates can rot in hell for what they did to the Buckeyes in basketball. Damn disgrace.
  5. Idk. Seeing Dantonio and State beat Michigan the last two years is a thing of beauty!
  6. And just for clarification scUM is not the same as Thug-U(M) south.
  7. I don't see any way, shape or form that the ISU Cyclones make it in. The same would hold true for KSU IF the Big Ten slumingly went after KU.
  8. Maybe I wasn't clear, but I would like to overtly state that I don't condone what Woody did. I also can appreciate your outlook as a Clemson fan. It would definitely not sit well. However, when considering Woody Hayes, I would prefer to look at his career as a coach and as a person overall. http://buckeyesgameday.com/history/woody-hayes-accomplishments/ As a person, he cared a great deal about his players. He was of the mindset that you prepare them for life; not just football. I have read testimony after testimony regarding the positive impact that Woody had on the lives of his players. Just for kicks, I thought I'd see how Woody's stats compared to Devaney's. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=919762 My wife's family has informed me of some of the positives of Devaney. Would you be just as quick to dismiss Devaney's accomplishments if he made the same or equally severe mistake?
  9. And because of one incident you want to discredit all the positive things he did for his players? Pretty unreasonable. Furthermore, it's not as though he wasn't unrepentant. Anyway... if that's the way you feel you need to portray him as a whole; then that's your prerogative. But I'll say it's an ignorant approach.
  10. Fitzgerald's a bright, young coach. If he stays there, I see him really turning that program into something.
  11. You mean this guy? Hey man. People make mistakes. The good that Woody did for tOSU far outweighs that incident.
  12. Kiss your mom with that mouth?! http://www.scarletandgray.info/osu/songs/michigan.html Should have showed them HANG ON SLOOPY first. The "classiest fans in football" won't have at that song. Since you asked:

  15. As I understand it, the Presidents/Chancellors of Nebraska and Texas are very close. I understand TO's issue with UT; however, I don't know that that extends beyond the athletic department. Furthermore, IF Texas were to come to the Big Ten along with Nebraska; THEN to me, that is epic: 1) 5 of the top 6 winningest programs in CFB history. 2) Even more televisions to watch the Big Ten Network which = even more money. 3) Amongst other points.
  16. Up North...that still cracks me up. Such hatred for not just a team, but an entire state that you can't even utter its name. Truth be told, I attended Eastern Michigan which is 5 miles east of that Whore Ann. It was a rough four years, but it forged an eternal indignation that will never be doused.
  17. Liar! That crap Up North cannot be categorized as offense. Offensive maybe; but not offense. no worries we will have time to adjust since its not like we'll be in the Big 10 like tommorrow or anything....... Interestingly enough, when RichRod was hired at Michigan, the predominant talking heads thought that his offense would revolutionize/terrorize the big, slow, plodding Big Ten defenses. The fact that these dolts never took into consideration is what has borne out the last two years: the Big Ten defenses for the most part of powerful, quick, and put a hurt on 5'7" 175 slot dots. I'm sure Nebraska (and Pelini schemes) will bear out much better initial results than the RichRod experiment.

  19. Every Big Ten school is unique. I loved my time at the U back in '95. Ohio State isn't hype though. It's legit in all 37 sports and academic faculties.
