Talk about tough schedules ... if the B10 does go to the 9 game conference schedule. Right now, with the committments that MSU has, their 2016 schedule looks like:
@USF, @ND, Bama + 9 game conf schedule :o
The supposed B12 payouts seem VERY odd. After losing Nebraska and Colorado (Denver), they are just going to miraculously double everyone's revenues?? If so, Beebe should be immediately fired for not doing it earlier.
Maybe we should screw with Texas more and invite Missouri?
UoC is not a member of the B10, they are a member of the CiC and are affiliated with the Big Ten.
Read your own link.
"The Big Ten Conference is the United States' oldest Division I college athletic conference. Its eleven member institutions are located primarily in the Midwestern United States, stretching from Iowa and Minnesota in the west to Pennsylvania in the east. "
Oh, I remember. Same with Wusconsin for a few years when they played 3 cupcakes to OOC, then got an easy start to a season. It was completely favorable scheduling not strength of team.
Huh? Good basketball? Competent football?
But ISUs biggest problem is that the B10 already owns Iowa. What little media is Iowa is already in the Hawkeyes backpocket. Increasing revenue with the BTN wouldn't happen at all. (Kinda the same with Pittsburgh)
Can't that be said for almost every conference? "The only game that have mattered lately have been between <insert top 3 teams>?"
What games have mattered lately outside of Texas, Oklahoma, and ... er ... uh ... Nebraska?
If Texas and aTm did come to the B10, it wouldn't be the same as the current B12 setup. THAT is why I don't know if Texas would come. They wouldn't rule the roost. Their arrogance may take a hit.
