  1. Welcome to the B1G Husker nation! You are a most welcome addition! I'm really looking forward to seeing how UNL performs - the schedulers cut you no slack. 8 Oct 11 can't come soon enough! That's going to be one wild night in Lincoln for the home conf opener.
  2. Q: What the Big 10 Must Do to Overcome SEC? A: Add Big Red. tOSU showing up to future MNC games ready to play will also help.
  3. Interesting research and post - Thanks! I really believe that competitive balance is also weighed with branding, fan-bases that travel well, national level of following. If a B10 conference champ game is in the works, a goal would be to maximize the possibility of two of the big four teams (UM, tOSU, UNL, PSU) playing each other. So it wouldn't make sense to put three together. Just my opinion.
  4. Well - I got my vote in for UNL! The horned and hooved B12 overloards down south can grab their sporks and eat the thick toilet paper residuals left over from my last massive.
  5. I don't see Bo as a "run up the score" type of fellow. Except of course the Texas game. Go ahead and drop half a hundred on them then go for two followed by an incomprehensible on-side kick with 30 sec to go. Wash - Rinse - Repeat for whomever you get in the title game.
  6. The problem I have being a Buckeye fan outside the B10 footprint is that espn will take multiple games then decide to televise the non-B10 game in your area. Your days of paying ESPN gameplan are not over. Also, Cox doesn't have the B10 channel in all places outside the B10 so check LA area. It's not in San Diego for example but was just added on Time Warner thankfully.
  7. He will prolly go pro, but if not, no worries. Anyday, Anytime, Anywhere!!! We aren't running away from play Jake Locker on the road this year. I've heard/read Pryor has said before it's always been his plan to enter the draft after his third year. If he has anything better than a mediocre year in 2010 I'm guessing he goes. Buckeye fans, whats the word? The consensus is TP will stay 4 years. He needs more development time to be a possible 1st round QB. I doubt he'd leave early without the scouts saying he's a 1st rounder. He's an epic athlete and absolute freak running the ball. However his read prgression, pocket passing abilities, game management, and some other qualities the NFL likes needs some work.
  8. Husker Nation, Welcome to the B10 and you are MOST welcome here! UNL to the B10 is huge... a perfect fit. I can't wait for the 1st Buckeye game in Lincoln and will start banking points with the woman to make sure I'm there. This last year you play with the B12 seems a bit awkward...like meeting the X out on the town. Well one way for Bo and UNL to reduce this awkwardness is to beat the living crap out of the B12 and give them one giant s%!t burger to eat as you part ways. You can be sure that there are millions of B10 fans rooting for UNL this year! Go Big Red! <not sure how to properly use this emoticon but it's too cool not to use>
