Illinois was the Big 10 Champ in 2001 and played in the Sugar Bowl. Cosgrove has a track record for recruiting Chicago well, so maybe he can make some calls. Whoopee, they've had two winning seasons out of the last 11 and have won the amazing total of 11 games in the last 4 years. They have had about one good year out of every decade for at least the past 30 years and 2001 was it for the current decade. Only the most die-hard Illini fan would try to debate my assertion that they are a black hole when it comes to football success.

Would putting Cal logos on your personal website be a more direct approach than a text message to the coaches? Hopefully he already told the coaches what he plans to do tomorrow or else the logos were a joke.
