Keen listeners to the video would have noticed the Chair of the Jan 6 commission stated they don’t have criminal investigation powers.   Me thinks that might be your Dear Leaders department

i believe that technically...the house doesn't have criminal investigative powers no matter what the president says.   that would be a separate part of the government

The American media/government and Zelensky are full of shot, and they get to endlessly spew garbage…. Why shouldn’t we get to hear from Putin. Discourse matters, even if it hurts your feelings.

that sentence makes you sound like a proud american patriot who hates america.

this was discovered during the jan. 6 investigation 3 years ago.   are the right wing sights now suggesting that this is something new?

so i said 3 years ago instead of 2.  that means i was totally exonerated or incriminated or something.   lol

Yes in 2022, and guess what champ?   The investigation is still apparently “ongoing” by the OIG.   Or did you not actually listen to the clip.

BTW…2022 plus three years is 2025:thumbs

so you are still disputing that we knew this 2 years ago and it isn't something new?   and at the time it was probably done to protect trump?

You don’t have to watch the interview, if your little liberal heart can’t take it.

putin also says the sale of alaska to the united states was illegal and now considers alaska occupied territory.

I don’t know, this is coming from Maddie’s twitter not right wing news site and You sure about that timeline?

When did the investigation into this start and when did it end?

PBS (yes I know it’s a right wing news factory) has a story out summer of 2022 talking about STARTING an investigation into this.  By your calculations, today would be summer of 2025 not Feb 2024!   (Emphasis mine).

    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/politics/national-archives-asks-secret-service-to-probe-deleted-texts-sent-around-jan-6

The Secret Service has come under heavy scrutiny following the revelation last week that text messages sent around the time of the Capitol attack may have been erased. In response, the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 investigation issued a subpoena for the messages and other related records.

    ……..

The potential loss of the records first came to light last week when the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General, in a letter obtained by The Associated Press, told lawmakers that Secret Service messages between Jan. 5 and Jan. 6, 2021, were erased "as part of a device-replacement program."

it's right there in your post that the jan. 6 commission issued a supoena for those records.   lol.  i underlined it so you can find it big boy.

Some interesting nuggets in this questioning.   And why is it usually the case in controversial times of our history, information and technology assets seem to magically disappear even though the records act is quite clear on what’s supposed to happen?   Would be nice I guess if the everyday citizen could get away with this excuse when a court or congress demands communication from them.   “Oh sorry Judge, yeah there was a backup problem and the data was deleted.  Sorry again bro.  I’ll get you next time!”

Wait. Why was the father arrested? I didn’t see anywhere that he had any knowledge of what his son had threatened to do. The guns in the house were confiscated. Good. But what did the father do wrong or what law did he break? Owned guns? Raised a maladjusted kid? What?

if i recall correctly...that father was a survivalist who had RPG's, ghost guns, and other illegal stuff.

I could see SCOTUS not taking it because the conservative judges don't want to be cornered in making a decision on it.

IF they take it, I suspect the ruling will be upheld...but I would not be surprised if it wasn't unanimous with someone like Thomas dissenting.

they don't have to rule for him....but they can help him delay everything until it's too late

  10. maybe Joe can sell Ukraine some "scrap iron".    lot's of old military vehicles could be sold at scrap prices.  or maybe do something like we did with 50 destroyers to britain before we got involved in WW2.   have ukraine promise us a port in crimea or ither military bases in exchange for military equipment.
