  4. All I know is that we try our best to get them fixed and if our neighbors would pitch in and do what we do, then it would help tremendously. Now our neighbor sings late at night when he gets drunk. Maybe he thinks he can be the next American Idol.

  8. Wit Always Wins Over Anger.... When Gandhi was studying law at University College, London, a professor, whose last name was Peters, disliked him intensely and always displayed prejudice and animosity towards him. Also, because Gandhi never lowered his head when addressing him, as he expected…. there were always “arguments" and confrontations. One day, Mr. Peters was having lunch at the dining room of the University, and Gandhi came along with his tray and sat next to the professor. The professor said, “Mr. Gandhi, you do not understand. A pig and a bird do not sit together to eat.” Gandhi looked at him as a parent would a rude child and calmly replied, "You do not worry professor. I’ll fly away," and he went and sat at another table. Mr. Peters, reddened with rage, decided to take revenge on the next test paper, but Gandhi responded brilliantly to all questions. Mr. Peters, unhappy and frustrated, asked him the following question. “Mr Gandhi, if you were walking down the street and found a package, and within was a bag of wisdom and another bag with a lot of money, which one would you take?" Without hesitating, Gandhi responded, “The one with the money, of course." Mr. Peters, smiling sarcastically said, “I, in your place, would have taken wisdom, don't you think?" Gandhi shrugged indifferently and responded, “Each one takes what he doesn't have. Mr. Peters, by this time was beside himself and so great was his anger that he wrote on Gandhi's exam sheet the word "idiot" and gave it to Gandhi. Gandhi took the exam sheet and sat down at his desk trying very hard to remain calm while he contemplated his next move. A few minutes later, Gandhi got up, went to the professor and said to him in a dignified but sarcastically polite tone, "Mr. Peters, you signed the sheet, but you did not give me the grade."
  9. He is alot cuter than the picture shows him to be, we had to get him in the light so the picture would show up better.
  10. Well..we got another kitty. We were sitting on the couch and had the front door open and we kept hearing a kitty meow. Sure enough, there was a kitty outside by our waterfall. It is a sister or brother to the white kitty that I posted a picture of the other day. It is gray, black and a little white kitty, it is so pretty. We have never seen a kitty like that before. The kitties all have names now. The gray kitty is named Baylee, the white kitty is named Chipper and the one that we just got is named Charli if it is a girl or Charley if it is a boy. Here are pictures of him or her below.
  11. Thank you. We are worried about our neighbors trying to kill wild cats that are outside of our houses. We feed them and water them so they have something to eat and drink. We have trapped most of them and have gotten them fixed and now our neighbor has targets set up and they have a bb gun-(spelling?)-or some type of gun. They said they want to get rid of them! We called the police station and asked them if it was legal for them to shoot it in their back yard and they said it was legal, but, if they kill any cats, then it isn't.
  12. We brought these 2 kitties in from outside. We couldn't let our neighbors dogs kill them.

  14. Boneless Buffalo Wings: 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour 2 Tsp. Salt 1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper 1/4 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper 1/4 Tsp. Paprika 1 Egg 1 Cup Milk 2 Chicken Breast Fillets 4-6 Cups Vegetable Oil 1/4 Cup Crystal Or Frank's Louisiana Hot Sauce 1 T. Margarine On The Side: Bleu Cheese Dressing/Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing/Carrot Sticks/Celery Sticks Combine flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and paprika in a medium bowl. In another small bowl, whisk together egg and milk. Slice each chicken breast into 6 pieces. Preheat 4-6 cups of vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees. One or two at a time, dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then into the breading blend; then repeat the process so that each piece of chicken is double-coated. When all chicken pieces have been breaded, arrange them on a plate and chill for 15 minutes. When the chicken is done resting, drop each piece into the hot oil and fry for 5-6 minutes or until each piece is browned. As chicken fries, combine the hot sauce and margarine in a small bowl. Microwave sauce for 20-30 seconds or just until the margarine is melted, then stir to combine. You can also use a small saucepan for this step. Just combine the hot sauce and margarine in the saucepan over low heat and stir until margarine is melted and ingredients are blended. When chicken pieces are done frying, remove them to a plate lined with a couple paper towels. Pace the chicken pieces into a covered container such as a large jar with a lid. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the container, cover, and then shake gently until each piece of chicken is coated with sauce. Pour the chicken onto a plate and serve the dish with Bleu Cheese Dressing/Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing/Carrot Sticks/Celery Sticks

Spread the potatoes out in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes; stir well and bake an additional 20 minutes. Stir again, making sure that none of the potatoes are sticking to the tray. 22. Holidays bring relaxation and get together's for family & friends. Some people are fortunate to have family and friends and some people don't. For anyone who reads this and thinks they are alone, they aren't. The good lord is always by your side:) We live in a world where work is needed to buy food, pay bills, etc. When you are in a hurry to get to work or wherever that may be, take a moment to stop and look at something beautiful along the way and take some time to say "hi" to a person walking by, etc. It is the little things you can do that can brighten up your day and another person's day and that only takes a second of your time. I wish all of you a very Happy Labor Day. Please stay safe and have fun:)
