I think BYU today just tried to make themselves more appealing to the Pac-12. I mean conference expansion will happen when Texas and Notre Dame says it will happen for the most part. They will make sure their respective programs are in great shape and they will. BYU knows football is going to drive the expansion. They want to make sure they have a spot at the super conference table. This means two things: 1. If BYU gets that Pac-12 invite. That leaves out Kansas. Texas will ensure that Tech and Ok-State comes along and it would be a relatively easier for Texas to win than any other Super conference scenario. 2. Rivals Kansas and Missouri will be going toe to toe to get into the Big 10. Its unlikely to me that the SEC will take either team so maybe the Big East might be a super conference but will have to pluck some ACC teams to make it in a potential playoff. Really its a dog eat dog and coaches need to compete for championships and high level bowl bids so it will be viable in the super conference

I think that the UFL hit the jackpot with Omaha. Its a football crazy state and with some competent players that are former huskers to bring in the fans. I think they should expand to 6 and play in Oklahoma City. 30 minutes from Norman. Former Sooners to possibly play. Football crazy state with not much else to do. (no offense) I also think possibly starting the league in July might help their brand. Only football on and if they can get a network TV deal, it will broaden the league. People like real football, not arena football, in my opinion.

I have been watching High school football with the lack of offense some teams but found myself pretty entertained. Oh Thursday can't get here soon enough.

IMHO the man is an iconic fool. I respect anybody for having the success he has had in life, but beyond that I can't stand the man. It isn't bad for an analyst/host to have a varying opinion on a topic, but he is brutish and arrogant when he gives an opinion, similar to Mark May but not quite as bad. Its not that much of a reach. I like the call. Better than Alabama vs. Ohio State. SO BORING of a call. Go out on a limb and make a prediction no one else is making.
