James Williams probably would have had at least 3 sacks if QB were live. 2 and a holding call for sure. He uses his hands really well and he gets low and dips his shoulder very nicely. One play he dipped and ripped and #71 basically had him in a headlock and he was still able to get to the QB. Would have been a holding call (especially if he didn't play for Nebraska). He needs to be on the field for every 3rd down and 5+ to go.
What’s his story? Will they be able to get some weight on him? Seems to be an animal.

Tell you what, O street and downtown lincoln is getting really crappy.
Soooo many homeless people sleeping all over the place.
I am guessing that the Railyard has really started to impact O street.
I don’t know where else you’ve been in the US. I travel for work. It’s everywhere.
What I don’t like about what Lincoln is doing is allowing people to just crash on O street. Specifically downtown. Theres always been a lot around the shelter East of the tracks on O.

I thought he was ranked way higher
I can’t imagine he’s played very much. But I don’t know.

I actually thought they both looked a little small, but next to the old man you can see they have the frame. Kyle was an absolute freak on the field and in the weight room.

A lot of love for HH. Didn’t see this huge transformation some saw. He had a few good throws. Made several into coverage. He’s a back up. We need back ups.
i hope he sticks around. I’d like to see him on the field in a different role. I like what DK did. DR is by himself, but I’d really like to see DK use the time to get better.

Pretty good time for 200+ pounds.
That's F ing good for a guy that size. It's crazy to me how Rhule is going after all these athletes. It's pretty awesome.

DR will be the starter big dog. Coach speak.
What do mean by coach speak? Is there another language that can only by deciphered by a coaching enigma? Why is it so dark in here? Did anyone else hear that? Who said that? Seriously guys..stop

I have. He looked ok but nothing spectacular.
We don’t all see things the same. Looking for Hood to have that breakout season.

By contrast, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has made zero off-campus recruiting trips and hasn’t visited any recruits away from Boulder since his hiring there in early December 2022.
How is this even possible?

Dylan won’t get hurt, he can actually throw the quick outs. But, if some freak situation happens, I think Zach Wilson may still have some eligibility remaining.
Who is Zach Wilson? I think you meant Russell Taylor.

If they only have 4 qb's on the roster and three are scholarships and one is a walk on hopefully it doesn't come to that. I only asked bc recent Nebraska starting qb's have gotten hurt throughout the years and we have had to go to back ups.
I get your point. If we had 8 QBs and they were hurt, I’d sure like to believe that 9th guy could win games for us. It’s just a good plan.

I did not realize he was freshman last year. I hope he comes Nebraska
I watched him in a few games late in the season. I think he could turn into a big contributor eventually.

Anthony Grant (#53 RB) - 4.71 40 with a 26" vert and an 8'11" broad - not exactly explosive.
These are terrible numbers. Not trying to be d!(k, but I doubt Rhule even recruits a kid with numbers like this.

I went to KState. They have done a nice job with all the updates they've done there. I was just saying the location sucks. JMO. The point being though, Memorial needs to be where it is. I agree though about what Trev was trying to do.
I agree. The location of memorial stadium is ideal. The place needs work.

He had knee surgery for "clean-up" right before Christmas and missed a couple of weeks. You could tell the last couple weeks of the season it was affecting him as he looked like he was laboring when he went up and down the court.
Mast was non existent the last 4 weeks of the season. Something was wrong. He's a good player.

A better pass would have let the receiver score instead of leading him out of bounds.

A better fan would have realized it’s an improvement instead of a guy going out of bounds.

Being a Rockies fan (you heard that right) and seeing what Coors did for downtown is impressive. KC's downtown, at least when I lived close, was an afterthought. I think a plan like this can go a long way in making it a place to live, work, play, etc. The KC sports complex, in my eyes, is awful. There's nothing around it, yeah, sure, maybe the tailgating is good but whatever. The renderings were awesome. I much prefer a downtown setting.
Which is why you can NEVER move Memorial, unless it's a block over. All these people wanting a dome halfway between Omaha and Lincoln don't get it. Go to a game at KSU then Lincoln. Totally different experience and one is way better! I only get back to one game a year but I absolutely LOVE the experience of staying downtown and walking through campus to the game. If they ever moved it away from that area I honestly don't know if I'd bother, probably just watch on the flat screen.
KSU isn’t bad. And their stadium is way better.
Went twice last year. Enjoyed it.
Edit: Getting laughs. Unlikely anyone has been there in a while. It's far different than what I remember when Taylor Martinez (2010) ran wild. They have a concourse that has tons of room. You don't feel like cattle. You can watch the game standing comfortably from multiple locations. You don't have to choose between a hot dog, valentinos or runza because they have options. The bathrooms were not like I was behind a barn at the Saline County fair. And we walked from campus which took 5-10 minutes. The stadium was surrounded by tailgating.
It was the most enjoyable experience for watching a game I've had in a while. It actually made me a supporter of what Trev was trying to do. Memorial Stadium is a dinosaur. I think they've done a phenomenal job of trying to lipstick the pig, but it's time for a Chip & Joanna job.
