I woke up this morning and placed my normal saturday slew of bets online. When i got to the two thirty list of game i seen Nebraska moved from a -7 favorite to -8. Husker faithful dont kill me but i bet against the big red for the first time all year. I think we still win the game but 8 points is just too much for a team that can put up a lot of points. GBR!!!!!!!!!!!

how on earth do they come up with these stats. most defense try to disguise blitz packages and dont do so until the ball is snapped. Does espn have alittle man pausing every play and counting the number of players in the box. retarded stat

best game of the year by far very nice game. maybe my comments got him a lil fired up to play. i like a player that can rise up and make the hatters eat their words.

i grew up there but since moved to the south where i have since realized the magnitude of high school football down here and it is really something to see. i was a two time all state football player in nebraska and the talent that i played against doesnt sniff the athletes in the south.

Big Fella your probably from a small town in Nebraska and have rooted for the underdog all your life. You probably live a undisciplined life and dont see things in the right perspective because your blinded by the small town effect you currently live in. I herd the talentless nebraska football playoffs start soon so im sure your all over the message blogs about that and will probably be attenting crete or something watching your son so have fun. All im sayin is if you play in nebraska and are offered a scholarship and aren't producing against inferior opponents it doesnt reflect our recruiting efforts across the country too well.

Crick is a good player but not having suh by his side has made a huge impact on his game. Not sayin he is overrated but not the player he was a year ago great players find ways to get it done and thus far this year Crick isnt getting it done. Ok your statement says it all he doesnt get the ball as much as the senior back in the past at Beatrice. Hmmmmm that makes me wonder because if i had a kid that run a sub 4.4 i would find ways to get him the ball which makes me wonder about his playmaking ability. He is two steps faster than the fastest kids he is playin against and isnt putting up numbers. Those two steps at the college level become non existent and players that dont have play making ability to rely on get lost in a college program. Herd hes got bricks for hands as well.

Dan's pride is just hurt that the big twelve is crumbling while he is in charge and this is just a statement to nebraska that he is mad we are leaving the big 12 or should i say the big 2 after nebraska leaves because only oklahoma and texas r relevent after we leave. Dan if this is you attempt at punishing us its pathetic but we will live with the decision its only one week as for the Big 12 enjoy the rocky times ahead. the texas schools should jump off the sinking ship and start their own conference because kansas, mizzou, kstate, iowa st bring nothing to the conference

These guys at CFN are about as good as the BCS is at getting the national title right. Every game is a new one and there is no way to predict things because it is college football. If i had to pick the spread no doubt im takin the 7.5 points and pickin Mizzou but if im picking a winner its no doubt Nebraska. Mizzou's offense it bubble screens to wr, screens to rb, and crossing routes. Nebraskas d is designed to keep things in front and Gabbert will make a few bad reads and this will cost them. Mizzou relies on the run after the catch if Nebraska tackles well we win easily.

no i wouldnt have questioned the offer if he had played in texas because class 6A through 2A in Texas would beat the living crap out of any team in Nebraska. There is a reason nebraska doesnt produce many d1 recruits its because Nebraska high school football is brutal. That being said I trust in Bo but the kid should be dominating class B football if he is such a good athlete thats all im saying where is the production is what im wondering. But im sure Bo saw something in him and thats good enough for me. GBR.

what a joke huskers are getting suspended for hitting people too hard on the field. while Okie receivers are getting dewies and attending pro football games(probably given tickets by an agent) a clear NCAA violation. Beebe is a joke and im glad we are leaving the Big 12 because it will go downhill once Nebraska leaves. Big twelve north has been fading for years and once nebraska leaves it almost non existent. Good luck big twelve you will turn into the Big east very soon.

i totally agree with giving good athletes a chance. but why waste a scholarship on a player that hasnt proved himself at the class B level, when he probably comes to nebraska if we ask him to walk on and give him a shot to compete and earn a scholarship.

Ive heard from a lot of people close to the Beatrice football program that in their opionions Nebraska is taking a chance with Davie. They say he is fast but doesnt have very good instincts on the field and may be alittle soft. Im all for getting the best in state talent but i think nebraska jumped on the bandwagon a little to quick on this kid. Just because he goes out and run a 4.2 forty and Kansas offers him doesnt mean we need to offer. What in state kid isnt going to walk on if he has a spot just saying. maybe a wasted scholly

im college football you never know. every week is a crap shoot because football teams go through such highs and lows during a season. It will be interesting to see which team shows up in Lincoln with both teams coming off such highs the previous week. I give the edge to Nebraska. Mizzou will come in riding the high of beating the number one team in the country and as we have seen every week in college football they will lose after a big win. Bo will have our guys humbled and ready to play. I also must point out there is some personal pride in shutting down Gabbert after he burned us along with his brother for Mizzou.
