    Now I'm really torn... getting all of KW's charges dropped/reduced seems like an abuse of power and not setting the right message, but we need our coach back... Feels very dirty, and that's not how we do things at Nebraska.

      They're not dropping anything or lowering either. Sometimes cops cite an individual with an inaccurate charge. Which is one reason why there is the process of an arraignment and hearing, to get this correct. People jumping to conclusions that he won't be fired or will be fired before even knowing the entire story and even the laws.

      Either here or elsewhere on the site someone says it's not right that if a cop makes me a mistake a person gets away with a crime. Is that maybe to prevent lazy cops from abusing their power to make any arrest they'd want to? Like maybe the How to Make a Murderer individual who was just released?
