  1. I agree that Kevin Wilson messed this up for us, and did not need to give out so many details. But the flip side of this is, Bo has to just go with the flow. It's his fault to begin with that Wilson wasn't sufficiently aware of what he couldn't say. If it is such a big deal to keep the cat in the bag, make sure a guy like Wilson knows. And given that Wilson let it out of the bag, Bo has to roll with the punches. There's no need to maintain a company line of "No, nothing's happened." Just say, "Today is about this great class we have, and there will be no comments on anything else." But when the reporters fished, Bo failed to stick to his own rules about the presser and decided to be misleading. I chalk that up to lack of media savvy rather than anything malicious, but it was damaging. Bo has integrity, but Bo made a misstep today. In his defense, he probably didn't realize to what extent the cat was out of the bag, though reporters filled it in for him eventually. I don't think Bo was really in any place to tell KW what he could and could not say, especially after stealing a coach.
  2. I love Bo...but I hate to say it...it's true! This rests on Bo's shoulders this time.... no. it doesnt. believe it or not, we dont always have to pinpoint blame on somebody every time something goes wrong. If this contiunes the PROBLEM will be on Bo. This is Bo's football team he is the man in charge. If doesnt do things to make the program right..... then he will have nobody to blame but himself. You dont point the finger you point the thumb. thats a big if. all im saying is dont be too eager to place judgement. dont forget how far we've come since the callahan era After last night it seems like we've completed the circle right back to where we were under BC. I most definitely blame Bo just like I did BC. There isn't a doubt that they know their stuff but good leaders and bosses are able to make tough choices that allow for continued progress. BC and Bo are a lot alike in their stubbornness and their "everything is fine" coach speak.
  3. ah yes, the highly reliable one sentence blurb from the football scoop. I dont think he would leave for Miami. I also think its naive to blindly believe he never would. Big picture. sh#t happens. I don't think that you were implying that I believe that he will never leave, but just to clarify, I'm pretty sure that he will leave at some point in the next decade.
  4. He's not going anywhere. http://www.footballscoop.com/the-scoop
  5. Bo gave Quintin many opportunities to fix his problem and Cody made a mistake that wouldn't allow him to remain. Their situations aren't similar.
