What about 1 year and 4 months because that is when he set foot on campus? And hes been a starter for 4 months. If he has not gotten better in 4 months and 1 year being on scout team, I don't think he will get much better than he is now. He can run, thats it. When teams like Texas, Missouri, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Washington learn how to shut him down, what will he do then? Yea 4months as a starter. How long does it take the average QB to hit his peek. A lot longer then 4months. I would like to see him grow into a great QB or have another player step up. It's not like cody came in and save the day and showed that we were losing all because of Tmart. Bash him all you want, but facts are facts. how many record has he broken this year? He wasn't the problem the offense was. The whole offense. Now who do you blame for that?

Yea he does make poor decisions. But again you cant just point the finger at him. T-tragic isn't the only one who is making mistakes. Cody is a fumble machine also. Helu and rex fumble it as well. Tmart needs some better coaching and practice. I mean HELLO he is a damn freshman. I think alot of ppl forget that fact. Hes not gonna get better over night. I think he has done well as a freshman. But horrible as a starting QB. Give him time. If the coaches believe he not the best at QB then they will dump him. I hope he gets better or ANOTHER qb steps up. They should of gave Zach Lee a shot at this game and let Martinez get more pratice in.

Its a wake up call for the Nebraska football program that they need to make offensive staff changes. Hopefully this embarrassing loss turns into a positive with changes.

To people who think Tmart is the problem. Show me the point that the other QBs for NU this season have been better. Its easy to point at the QB with the ball. The oline hasnt been pulling there weight. How about instead of focusing on the back field for recruiting. We focus on Oline recruiting. Cause lets face it. You can put anyone in the back field but without blocking they dont stand a chance.

I disagree. The Blackshirts are about more than "trying" and "giving it your all" and "having heart" and "sticking with it." If that's all it was, any of us could be blackshirts. Giving all seniors a Blackshirt the last week as a thank you would be like handing out participation ribbons -- there would be several guys that wouldn't WANT to wear them because they'd know it didn't mean anything. I agree the blackshirt is something you earn.

Yea paying college kids to play ball would be problematic, but they need to atlest let them take endorsments and let them sell there items. It just seems greedy on NCAAs part. Am I not mistaken but isn't there a few video games out there with a NCAA tag on them. I mean come on. They want to have there cake and eat it to. How about the NCAA be fare and stop taking endorsements them selves. On the other hand one reason I like college football more than pro is because most players are playing for the game and not money. NFL is just too flashy for my taste. You know NFL probably has a deal with the NCAA about the 3year rule. Cause hell otherwise. You wouldn't have your tebows, newtons, ingrams playing college ball I doubt they gave a $hit about a degree. They wanted to play football.

It just seems like colleges milk the players. I'm mean this is what like a multi million dollar league. That some of these player mess up there bodies for what a scholarship. Give me a break. Look at ol touch down tommy. How much money do you think was made off of him. He didn't get to the next level(NFL). A lot of great players who get hurt and on some occasion Killed. What would the ncaa be without great players. How many sponsors would they have. NCAA rules forces the back door rule breaking(boosters). If my face was plastered all over TV I would want a little money for that. Do great players go to college for a degree first? Or is that a fall back plan in case they don't make it to the pros?
