Frank Solich is a Husker...always will be in my mind. But I question his credentials as an offensive coordinator for Nebraska. If I'm not mistaken, didn't he fire himself as Nebraska's offensive coordinator after the 2002 season?

There's no way around the fact that next year's schedule will be quite a bit harder than this year's. If I'm not mistaken, we were favored in every game this year, except for against Oklahoma. You could say we "should" have won every game. But we didn't. As far as next year's schedule, we "could" win every game. That depends on the team improving from this year to next. We get better, we can challenge for the Big Ten title. If not, I'm afraid middle of the pack is possible.

The way I look at it, Bo doesn't owe me (as a fan) anything, but to help put on the field the best football team he can. If he does this, the other things like his media relations pale in comparison. Honestly, his gruffness toward the media is kind of endearing sometimes. That said, it would be nice if he could give reporters a little more substance in his answers and show some appreciation for the jobs they do. And not treat the intense fan interest with such apparent resentment.
