  1. Bi polar much??? What happened to f6ck Nebraska, f6ck jeter, f6ck doc, etc..? Which by the way was the most ridiculous post ever. F6ck jeter? Really? Nobody should be there to boo tonight...we should be there for support and be thankful for the improvement over previous years...and the biggest applause should go to lance jeter.
  2. So does the loss of Dinger at the beginning of the year... I was starting to wonder if anyone was gonna bring him up. Obviously it's not something we need to dwell on but how much better would our rebounding/inside scoring/ energy be if he were still on board. It kind of sounds like his personality and priorities didn't fit into a Sadler coached team though...but neither did Toney's when he got here and his attitude seems to have taken a 180 for the better.
  3. That's a great point by Rosenthal. I think with the amount of mediocre teams and the way middle of the road teams have beat up on eachother in conference play, the selection committee will put even more stock than usual into what those bubble teams did outside their conference. Showing we can hang with the likes of UNC and WV would've been HUGE!! That's all behind us though, and our fate still lies in our own hands. We just gotta play great D like always and build off the offensive aggressiveness that we started to show aagainst UT.
  4. I won't make an attempt at validating this "epic collapse" of a thread....nor do I agree that it will take a collapse in order for us to not go dancing. We still have work to do. Win 3 out of 4 is what it comes down to....in whatever order...doesn't matter. Hopefully we carry some momentum from the last three wins. I think we're peaking at the right time. A win vs KState wed would be HUGE! Everyone reading this needs to be there!!!!!
  5. I think the 65 year old rebounder's club donors that sit in section A (top and bottom of the screen) probably figured they better not sprint to the middle of the floor and jump up and down with 19 year old college kids.
  6. Getting ready to head down to the bob...hopefully the skers can slow the game down and keep us in it til late. This is our opportunity....win this one and I think the momentum carries us to a small win streak/one or two conference tourney wins/good case for a bid....not gonna be easy though.
  7. Does it matter? Do you want to be like other D-1 schools anyway? How many schools have back to back National Championships once not to mention twice? How many schools have a sell out record for football dating back to your grandpa's days? Who was the school to start a strength and conditioning program and reshape college football because of that? I want to be Nebraska and do it our way. There is a reason we dominated foot ball for 3 decades. i guess you missed my point, no, we don't need to emulate others, but it would seem to me we could use a dedicated qb coach, as much as 2 line coaches, but with Cotton....yeah, we probably need another! That was my first thought exactly....."well, if cotton's staying at least we're getting him some help!"
  8. I think Carnes' highschool tape is amazing. Over and over he fires 60 yard bombs and 20 yard frozen ropes on a dead sprint....whether on a designed bootleg or after escaping the pocket. Being able to accurately throw on the run like that is priceless in my opinion because the defense will most likely be out of position. If Carnes has been putting in his time and really knows the playbook inside and out I think he can definitely be our guy.
  9. I mean just look at the guy. His shoulder pads just look like extensions of his ginormous guns! Everyone else looks like....they're wearing shoulder pads!!
  10. Carnes takes the job. Martinez goes crying back to daddy and some unfortunate Cal school. Green is back up for good but a good one, mostly because of his willingness to help teach his understanding of the game. Bubba is Carl Crawford Jr. Turner starts some games at WE next year. Spano and Kellogg....thanks for comin to practice
  11. I've watched Ty play sports since he was 3 ft tall. He is a natural athlete and very competitive...also if any of you watched him play high school football the last couple years his poise and cool head sticks out more than anything. The fact is that Ty has a lot of work to do in the weight room before he even thinks about being a D1 QB. I see him coming in and working his tail off....and maybe competing for a starting job as a RS soph or jr
