Raptor
Since we are 8-2 and you guys are 7-3, the logical thing would be for us to lose to you so that mediocrity can be obtained by A&M once again. However, since you guys will clinch the North with just one more victory and we'll need two, plus two losses to t.u., then I have to ask for the Husker Nation to accept this loss as a goodwill gesture to our program. Jadler
We're 7-3, or did MU not count for some reason? P.S. Good luck to you all, Kyle Field scares me Quote Link to comment
Raptor
Kyle Field scares everyone until they win here. You guys won in 2002, so no worries there. Sorry about the missed win, but I was thinking you guys had a bye week somewhere. Quote Link to comment
Jadler
That's next week, no worries. Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
The reason I think we will beat you guys (A&M) is mainly becuase you guys don't have much of a passing game at all and that's about the only thing that will beat us. Your QB also tends to run a lot when he gets pressured and our LBs have done a decent job of hitting and striping those kind of plays. A&M seems to have some good team speed on defense, much like Mizzou and we were able to wear that down so I think we will bring a similar gameplan. One last thing is who has A&M really played/beat this year? Look below for schedule/ results... Sat, Sep 2 Citadel W 35-3 - No Suprise Sat, Sep 9 Louisiana-Lafayette W 51-7 - No Suprise Sat, Sep 16 Army W 28-24 - Squeking by Army at home? Sat, Sep 23 Louisiana Tech W 45-14 - beat much like we did Sat, Sep 30 Texas Tech L 27-31 - Loss Sat, Oct 7 at Kansas W 21-18 - Same team we struggled with a little Sat, Oct 14 (19) Missouri W 25-19 - Mizzou gave this away by a ton of unforced fumbles Sat, Oct 21 at Oklahoma State W 34-33 - Okla St. gave this away completely Sat, Oct 28 at Baylor W 31-21 - Not a bad win Sat, Nov 4 (18) Oklahoma L 16-17 - Loss As you can see A&M has just barely snuck by everyone, they are a pretty lucky 8-2 team. AgMarauder04
HAH! It's Raptor, our resident uber-pessimist! Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
Yes, four of their wins were by a TD or less. They could very easily have a few more losses. Quote Link to comment
AgMarauder04
We could also be 10-0. what's your point? Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
We could also be 10-0. what's your point? Look at that level of competiton so far though, obviously in the last 2 weeks of the year it goes up a lot but so far all you have played is a decent Mizzou team and thats it. You played terrible non-conference teams, half your wins have been gimmies and one of those was close. Quote Link to comment
