RedCountry
I know it looked pretty sloppy at times, but BOTH teams were slipping around. Just bad conditiosn. maybe they'll make a change at halftime... Quote Link to comment
DaveH
That field was SOAKED. They got 6 inches of rain the day before. A lot of people were having trouble with footing, but Ross especially because he cuts so much. Quote Link to comment
Redout
For Ross I think it's more than just the conditions. He is always tripping over his feet. He'll trip at home. Quote Link to comment

Benard
I seen others slip once in a great while. He slipped everytime he touched it. He's a good back, I'd hate to think how good he would be if he wasn't tripping and falling before he gets hit most the time. Quote Link to comment
HuskerBob
you guys are nuts. this guy is a human weeble wobble. hes had more times where we got hit and spun and kept his balnac for an extra 4-5 yrds than anyon weve had in a LONG time. no hard cutter cudve performed much beter than that with the conditions. after it was said and done he still had 70 some yds on about 20 carries. now im not good at trig but my math says that still respetable at about 3.5 yds per. and if you still have doubts just pop ina tape with ol Dan alexander running the rock. talk about a human avalanche. man that guy mustve had a magnet in his head b/c everytime he touched the ball it ws like he was gettign suckd to the core of the earth. Benard
He can be a good back I agree. I think he looks faster this year with the loss of weight but for some reason his balance isn't as good imo. He has been tripping all year or he would probably have been over the 200 yard mark in atleast 2 games. He needed a change in shoes last game. He averaged 3 yards a carry and had some holes to have alot more. Quote Link to comment
chucker21
i think the coaching could have been a little better ross is a terrific back but his cuts are too out of this world for the conditions we played on on saturday we should have tried someone else and tried to see if they had any better luck dont get me wrong ross is amazing but he cuts to much for that weather Quote Link to comment

gamecocks
The conditions were the same for everyone, but it was more noticeable with ross because he always has trouble tripping. Quote Link to comment

Not to mention when the field is SOAKED and you have a back that likes to cut right out of the shoot. We aren't having trouble when it is warm and calm out. It is more a function of the current QB and his inexperience. Like I have always said, weather is a lame excuse. Quote Link to comment
