HuskerHank
There are some pretty noninvasive, or minor knee surgeries.I know a Husker wrestler who tore his miniscus the first time out this year.He had his knee scoped, and rehabbed about 3 weeks, and is back to speed already. He will wrestle at National Duals this weekend. In fact, there are two wrestlers on the team, that have had surgeries this season, and are wrestling again, and 1 that had a serious ACL injury and now is done for the year, so it really depends on the injury. I would think it would be way tougher to wrestle after a knee scope than to play football. Even if Lee's injury and surgery was serious, fall camp and playing next year wouldn't be impossible. HuskerMan
Either way I hope this doesn't hurt his mobility much! Quote Link to comment
Sugalean
Sounds like he doesn't plan on redshirting and plus this staff hasn't been too big on redshirting players. Or at least announcing so-n=so will redshirt this season. Think about it ... who have they anounced will redshirt since the start of this new era? Nobody I can think of... Quote Link to comment
