Hunter94 Posted July 31, 2007 Share Posted July 31, 2007 People that think Lucky hasn't shown his 5-star ability - His freshman year, he only got a few carries because of Ross. Sophmore year the Huskers went with a "Running Back Committee" style. So in that year him and B. Jackson shared the carries...and he still managed 728 yards. Thats only 272 yds. short of 1000. Now imagine Lucky carrying the ball twice as much this season....assuming he stays healthy! sounds good, but in reality i don't think he or any back can hold up to that much punishment. huskerfan17 Posted July 31, 2007 Share Posted July 31, 2007 i thought that last year lucky was the only wow factor back we had. brandon was more pound it out type back. lucky has that brake away speed and i think this year we will see him break out and be that amazing back. cody will get the job done as the pound it out runner this year as well but i expect lucky to be the starter and for him to have most of the carries.
