Has anybody ever gone to a game solo before??

Recommended Posts

I might be going this weekend alone. I kind of feel creepy about it. But I came across a ticket that was being sold for face value and is on the 45 yard line.

What side of the field? I'm on the west side on the 50, and it's almost a guarantee one of the blue-hairs around us will break a nail and not be able to show up for their seat.

I'm going to the USC game by myself (shameless plug: other ticket for friend that couldn't make it for sale in the classifieds).

But this summer I worked for 2 months in a strange town by myself, and although I was socialable at work and such, after work I'd go out and I met some new people... so it shouldn't be too bad.

Abd since we all have the same passion for the game and the 'Skers, you'll hardly notice that you're by yourself-- quite the opposite you'll be surounded by 85,000 other fans too.

I went to every '02 home game by myself. I had student season tickets, but I didn't really know any friends that had tickets.

I gotta be honest, it kind of sucked. When I think back on it, I feel like I took it for granted, but at the time it was kind of a bummer. There was only one good game from what I recall (Texas) and we lost that one. I usually couldn't wait to get out of the stadium and go to a party.

Yeah..Kinda creepy.

I'd better take that off your hands. <_<

do you need tickets? because I'm looking to sell a pair last minute.

Tempting..

I haven't seen my Mom or Sister in Lincoln for a couple of years. or my best friend since I got married.

But it's a 25HR drive and I need to lay tile in the Kitchen this weekend ..or at least look for a job.

25 hours? I guess it would depend on the route. In December of 2000 we took an RV from Omaha to Phoenix and it took 24 hours because we hit a blizzard in New Mexico and drove about 35 mph across the whole state. The trip back only took 21 hours.

Yeah..But if I took Buckeye37, we'd have to stop to pee.

Last time we went back home a couple months after the Hybrid was born, it took 3 days.
