TrumanBD
So did you go to Mizzou? Did you follow the 'Skers growing up, or did you move to somewhere in Missouri before you got very old? I thought everybody from Nebraskee at least begrudgingly loved the Huskers. I came to Missouri to go to college, although not to Mizzou. I live and work in Columbia, so I slowly became a Tiger fan over the years. I still cheer for the Huskers as long as they aren't playing Mizzou. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
This Mizzou fan would like to see you guys knock of Kansas and help clear our path for the Big 12 North. Our bitter rivalry with KU has me hoping they lose every weekend. I still don't think they are a legit top 10 team. About the only win I am impressed with is their Colorado away victory. Plus, a win over a top 10 team could do a lot to start some healing in Husker nation! Kansas is a very, very solid football team. Not much dazzle, but they are well-coached and they have tremendous fan support. Missouri's defense has surprised me, but I still say that they haven't really been tested by a cohesive football team. Besides, everyone knows that Missouri will collapse sooner or later. One loss, and the Tiger fans will look just like Husker fans. They will abandon that team and call for the Firing of the Coach. Mrs Callahan shouldn't you be spending less time posting and more time packing?? Quote Link to comment
HuskerFan505
Congrats on your win against Texas Tech. You defense had been showing improvement despite what your defesne is ranked, it proves that you cannot rate a defense based on numbers (Excluding Nebraska). The ONLY chance we have at competing again is get rid of the current coaching staff. Good luck this season, It'll come down to Missouri and Kansas. I haven't seen either team very much this season, well except for missouri. I'll be pulling for the jayhawks though to win the North, but I want the Huskers to beat them (Being very optimistic). fatirishhusker
Have the Missouri fans stopped talking about a National Championship this year yet? When I was in Columbia, between the welcoming jeers of profanity and dodging hurled objects from the best fans in college football, that's all people could talk about. Of course, that was before the Oklahoma game. I would love to beat KU, but the only game that really matters for you is the Mizzou/KU game. The way the North is shaping up, the winner of that game will have to play Oklahoma, and as much as it pains me to admit, I think KU has a better shot to beat them. Mizzou played a great game against Tech last weekend, but Oklahoma and Illinois both made them look soft (like how everyone makes NU's D look this year). Best of luck to the Tigers, but remember Gary Pinkel is still your head coach. At least we're likely going to be done with our mediocre coach. Quote Link to comment

I would hate for this to happen, because I think Nebraska needs to go back to its roots and tradition, but I am curious as to what you in Nebraska think would happen if Callhan somehow manages to salvage the season. There is no way he can salvage it. Callahan is as good as gone! Quote Link to comment
JHaWk
KU will NEVER LOSE to the likes of MU BWAHAHA... seriously though i am juiced for that game. Lets have a good game Truman and may the best team win Go HAWKS PS I also started a thread about wanting NU to beat Mizz so we will see how the November matchup goes Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
Hate to say this...but I am rooting for KU to win the Big 12 at this point....even if it means beating the Huskers this one time.....I am ashamed to say that....and fully expect to get flamed for it....but that is the way I feel. I have NO love for the team that is on the field for Nebraska this year. There has been absolutely no leadership from coaches or players on this team, and I have heard too much negative crap about certain players and their attitudes. This is definately a case of a few bad apples ruining it for everyone. Quote Link to comment
