The Iowa native completed 33 of 54 passes for 522 yards and 6 TDs, without an interception, in a 63-24 victory over Indiana. Runner-Up: Gino Guidugli, Cincinnati TOP RB Alley Broussard, LSU Broussard ran the Tigers to victory over Mississippi Saturday night. The sophomore from Lafayette, LA rushed 26 times for 250 yards (9.6 AVG) and three touchdowns as the Tigers knocked off the Rebels 27-24. Runner-Up: DeAngelo Williams, Memphis TOP WR Jason Rivers, Hawaii Rivers had a career day as the Warriors knocked off Idaho 52-21 on Saturday. The sophomore from Waipahu, HI caught nine passes from QB Timmy Chang for 167 yards (18.6 AVG) and four touchdowns to lead Hawaii. Runner-Up: Mike Hass, Oregon State TOP TEAM Iowa State The Cyclones pulled off a huge win on the road at Kansas State and took a big step towards a Big XII Championship Game appearance. ISU will take on Oklahoma in that game with a win over Mizzou or a Colorado loss this week. Runner-Up: Virginia Tech TOP GAME Illinois at Northwestern Playing in their NCAA-record fourth overtime game of the season, Northwestern pulled out a victory over in-state rival Illinois to grab their sixth win and become bowl eligible. The 'Cats visit Hawaii this weekend. Runner-Up: Florida at Florida State TOP UPSET Kansas over Missouri A disappointing season got much worse for the Tigers on Saturday. Hosting Kansas, one of just two teams out of the race in the Big XII North, Mizzou went down 28-0 and never recovered, eliminating themselves from bowl contention.
