Want a new coach, but give BC a break

Recommended Posts

Let me just say I do think we need new leadership. A new head coach and a new DC at LEAST. But I'm really sick and tired of hearing people rip on Callahan in a personal way. We are Nebraskan's and are nice people. He may be a poor coach (at best), but show some respect. I know he didn't come in here trying to ruin us, he's given his own life blood to make the huskers a better team, and really failed. That doesn't mean he is a bad guy ok?

Actually I read an article today and was actually impressed by his commitment to the team:

Again, not that I think we should keep him, but will someone else at least chime in with me and give him a respectful thank you? Apparently he himself as a person is a pretty good guy, all the players seem to really like him and recruits do to. He just can't coach...at all.

The guy is toast. He has zero insight into NU, he came here because he needed a job, he was unemployed, he was pedeys fourth choice ! He came here for millions($) of reasons ,nothing more, it was a payday!

He lacks passion, emotion, fire, leadership. He and weiss from ND are the laughingstock of college football, two pro coaches lost in the college game. Callhan is a fraud.
