topekahusker
Greg was really "sharpe" in the booth today. He dropped a lot of great one liners and had Matt Davisson laughing so hard there was no dialog going on while Adrian and Matt were laughing on air. One example: Greg stated after the kick off return for a td that for the 15th straight year in this series we've had a non offensive td scored: by the defensive or special teams. Matt said wow while laughing, where did you come up with that stat Greg? Greg calmly replied that he had a full week to prep for this game. Another "sharpie" as we refer to him in Topeka: After watching the first of several jukes put on KSU defenders..."sharpie" said the KSU defender should check out his Haines He was really, really good today and supressed his purple colored veines, really wants to be in the running for an offer to do the pbp next year, and it was OBVIOUS Matt and Adrian really liked working with him in the booth. It made my enjoyment in the stadium much more enjoyable...if possibe. Quote Link to comment
huskernumerouno
I enjoyed listening to him, I think it might have had something to do with how the game was going, but my hat is off to him on this one. The one after Lucky juked a DB he said" so in so will need to change his unerwear after that one" had me rollin Quote Link to comment

CornHunka
Where can I sign a petition to get this guy become the new voice of Husker football? He's great because he describes the action and his little points are poignant, not that totally obscure nonsense that JR is infamous for. Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Sign this guy up! He did a great broadcast today. He gets excited but he gets excited at the right moments unlike Jim Rose. Quote Link to comment
pctopeka
I've listened to a number of his broadcasts over the years, and always thought he was one of the better play-by-play announcers. Hope we get him. Quote Link to comment
