hastingshusker
With all this talk about Bo as HC and Gill as AC/OC i was thinking. I am a BIG fan of Watson and what he can, and has proven he can, do as OC. Would there be a scenario where Watson and Gill could be Co OCs? I know there are some schools that have co DC's (Oklahoma)...have there ever been co OC's? What do you guys think? Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
not likely...but interesting nonetheless! Quote Link to comment
huskerjack23
i bet turner would be willing to roll with a WC type offense since he was an assistant under callahan for a year. i don't know if that'd be his philosophy if he was the lone OC but if Watson was there, they could definitely run that. it'd definitely be easier for the kind of personnel that we have. BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Actually weren't Cotton and Albin co-offensive coordinators that last Solich year with Pelini? Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
If one guy is better at teaching offense and one is better at running an offense––go for it. Offense is complicated. A lot of facets need to be covered from technique to scheme to motivation to whatever. It would be interesting. I'd like to see Watson in some capacity. He seems like a sharp guy who was put in a bad situation with Callahan. X Quote Link to comment
