Fanatic
Our coaches have had great success this year using the whole early playing time pitch. I am hoping that we won't be able to use that pitch a few years down the road. If we don't have to, Then what pitches will be our best ones? and Will we be as successful as this year recruiting wise? Well then it starts coming down to whether were winning or not. "W's" always help recruiting. Also if Callahan stays true to his word. And those guyd do get early playing time. If a young man sees that every year regardlesss of what class a player is, a senior or freshman, they all have a shot at playing, the high schooler will be more likely to commit. AR Husker Fan
Yeah - if you're winning, you stress the chance to play for a championship, to get TV time, "take it to the next level", and so forth. If you're not winning, you stress the opportunity to play early, to help restore or build a program, to be the "pillar" of later sucess, etc. Quote Link to comment
