DJR313
Interesting article in the Omaha World Herald this morning. http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_pg=38&u_sid=1304729 Quote Link to comment
rawhide
thanks for the great link. I don't check the OWH site often enough. Spend most of my online time here reading threads. Thoughts to ponder. BC may have been a little shocked at the magnitude of enthusiasm in the state. Bet ya he doesn't anymore. The article I think hit it on the head that BC wants to keep a low profile and reduce the chance of any negative vibes getting out so close to LOI day. Especially since we all know how objective the media is. GBR Quote Link to comment
joshuavacek
I do not think the pressure got to Bill, but I do think he underestimated the talent he had here. The QB position is the most important position in the west coast offense and without a solid QB it just does not work. Next year will be much better. Quote Link to comment

Benard
Bottom line is he stunk up the place and I think he thought it was going to be a honeymoon for a couple years well thats just not the case. Everyone said we would see so much improvement over the course of the year. That just didn't happen if anything the opposite. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
I think he thought it was going to be a honeymoon for a couple years well thats just not the case. I would agree, except he said at a press conference after I forget what game "You don't come to Nebraska for honeymoon." If you want, I can dig to find after what game but I want to say the k-state game. Anyway, He knew there would be pressure. But I think he underestimated the pressure unruly fans and media can place on someone in Nebraska. I am especially disturbed to hear that some of these coaches families have been harrassed. Now that's taking a it a bit to far folks IMO. Quote Link to comment
