kramer
1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? His size in comparison to his speed. As Dave said, that was on display at the Army game. 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). 9- Because he's from OKlahoma and of course he have virtually no LB's 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? Yes, because of his ability and of necessity 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Tough one, he's faster than RUud, or Polk. But does he have those instincts? 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? Starting middle linebacker for the national championship cornhuskers, and a leader on the kickoff team Quote Link to comment

DaveH
Video Analysis from DaveH: In the film I have seen, he seems to see plays develop well. He shows some great pursuing ability, the ability to run down plays. He looked like he did misread a couple plays on the film that I have seen, but at the same time it looked like a outside blitz was called and the play went inside. He has some raw abilities and instincts that I look forward to watching develop. Quote Link to comment
oviedol55
1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? Great kid, good instincts. Not blazing fast but fast enough to make a difference, unlike our guys from last year. Incredible footwork for a high school kid. I believe his grades are in good shape and he'll be a lock to get qualified. Wasn't swayed by Pelini who tried to get him to OU. 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). 10, he's my favorite, and filling in Ruud's shoes won't be the easiest thing to do. 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? He can start, but he'll have to fight JUCO Dontrell Moore for the position. I wouldn't be too surprised to see Dillard earn the starting job later in the season, say, by the Oklahoma game, but he looks like he's gonna be a special teams standout his freshman year and work his way into the defense. 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Jamie Sharper of the Houston Texans. 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? A former three-four year starter and two-time All-American for the Huskers who went top 10 in the NFL Draft. Starting as a rookie in the league. Quote Link to comment

In what capacity? Starting at Linebacker, should replace Ruud in the middle. 4) Who does this player most remind you of? Channing Crowder 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? Finishing out a great career as a Husker, top 5 on tackles list. Quote Link to comment
