joshuavacek
Hunter looks like a very physical receiver. If is does weigh 211, he could be a definite tackle breaker. Nice steal from TX. Quote Link to comment
oviedol55
1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)? Physical, big, quick WR. Comes from the same high school as Miami WR David Boston, New England WR David Patten and Oklahoma WR Will Peoples. Horrible student though. Hope he gets qualified but he needs to get that SAT up a lot. 2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important). 8. He's the gem of this class if he gets qualified. 3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity? Yes, if he gets qualified, I believe he'll be making a big splash at WR. He could very well start next year. 4) Who does this player most remind you of? David Boston, definitely. 5) Where do you see this player in 2009? A former second-third rounder in the NFL draft who's a #3 or 4 receiver with some team in the league. Quote Link to comment

You almost wonder if there are so many good football players in Texas if the average ones from there are overlooked. Quote Link to comment

Texas football is as popular as Div 1 college football anywhere else. I think the average promising player is overlooked. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Hunter will not be enrolling at NU this upcoming year. He did not make the grade. He will enroll at a JUCO. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Wallace Franklin and Broderick Hunter will enroll at Butler CC. This supposedly has to do with the relationship Butler CC and Nebraska will have with non-qualifiers going to Butler and coaches at Butler making sure they stay with their HS commitment of playing with the Huskers. The coaches are hopeful that Hunter and Franklin will room together to keep together on their commitment. Quote Link to comment
