kramer
Huskers number 2 1. FSU 2. Nebraska 3. Florida 4. Tennessee 5. Michigan What a crock Quote Link to comment
hoyamannn
This is a really good argument. We won 3 titles, they never finished outside the top 4 in the country. Could go either way. We make a field goal in 93 or get a fumble call at the goal line, there's no argument. Quote Link to comment

junior4949
Either way, I think it's a character issue. Do you love Bobbie Bowden more, or do you love TO more? IMO, there's no issue. TO wins the character battle hands down. We competed for a National Championship every year I was in college. In 1996, take away the Texas game and we're playing for a title. FSU was good, but NU's team of '95 is considered one of if not the best of all time. After this year's NC game, USC definitely has a legitimate chance. Considering FSU couldn't beat Miami until probation hit, I think you have to give the edge to NU. I like FSU, but too many wide fieldgoals when playing Miami gives the edge to the huskers.
