FlavaFootball Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 College Gameday will be in Nashville Tennessee for the Auburn vs. Vanderbilt game. Lincoln made the final cut but Corso and Co. chose otherwise. I think it is a sad day, but understandable following the V-Tech game loss, that the nation is more interested in Vanderbilt than Nebraska. Missouri hasn't won in Lincoln since 78' while piling up 14 losses in a row. Maybe the national media is thinking the game will be a blow out, but I still see this game being more intriguing than Auburn vs. Vandy. Mizzou has National title game hopes while Auburn and Vanderbilt will most likely not win their respected SEC divisions. Anyways it is not a big deal. Although I do enjoy drinking beers at 6 in the morning before going to check out Gameday. It also doesn't hurt to have the extra publicity that goes along with the game of the week, but I guess if we struggle against Mizzou then maybe that will be a good thing. Link to comment
