UGAHusker
I know that a lot of our penalties are the result of mental mistakes, (lining up incorrectly, forgetting the snap count, etc.) but what portion of our penalty problem can be attributed to the team's break from the "read and react" mentality. The late hits and roghness calls might be an exagerrated attempt to get away from Cosgrove's teachings and to more closely personify Coach Pelini's "rugged" style. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
clone
traditionally, I believe penalties rest on the coaching staff. especially by week five. but I've been wrong before. lots of times. GO BO!! Quote Link to comment
Army Husker
What? No way. Didn't see this bad of a penalty avg at LSU...can't say this can overall be attributed to Bo's coaching style. Quote Link to comment

No way...that is not something you call a team meeting and say "Hey, it's okay to have penalties...as long as you play hard." Quote Link to comment
