Who do we root for now?

I think Texas and Texas Tech are now the 2 undefeated teams in the Big XII. Are you guys rooting for Texas, ot Texas Tech to go all the way?

Personally I'd root for either one. Oklahoma still has a shot too because they might still be high in the polls.

Also, I'm glad to see so many Big XII teams in the top 25 this year.

Okie State?

Unfortunately, I don't see either team making it to the National Championship. Or any Big 12 team for that matter. Texas still faces Okie State, Mizzou and A&M. And even though A&M is not playing well, that UT/A&M game is a rivalry game much like Bedlam in Oklahoma. I can see Texas losing one of those games. Tech still faces Kansas, Okie State, OU and Texas. I don't see them going undefeated either not too mention Tech typically has one or two games where they're just completely flat causing them to fall on their faces.

 

But don't forget about Okie State who is also still undefeated. However they play Texas and OU still. I don't see them winning both of the games. But they are playing very well right now.

 

As good as the Big 12 is right now, there isn't one team out there good enough or strong enough to run the gamut and go undefeated the rest of the season. We're too busy beating each other up right now which only hurts the Big 12's chances of having a team in the MNC. And this late in the season, any loss puts a serious damper on any chances a one-loss team might have.

I'll never root for ANY Texas Team. I say Oklahoma comes back to go to the conference title game where they loose horribly to the Big Red.
