bennychico11
So has Bo found the way to control the games? By controlling the clock? Going into this game we had a time of possession difference of 77:23 to 42:37. Today against Baylor we went 38:37 to their 21:23. I think that was the friggin' longest game I've sat through there at Memorial Stadium! Yes, we ended up losing to Tech but no where near the blowout KU suffered. Did we do something KU didn't? Or are we just better than KU Of course, controlling the clock doesn't matter when your defense allows a team to walk all over you....but maybe if our D can get to OU we might be able to run the game we want to run by controlling possession of the ball. It seemed a lot of our attempts today were just short plays. "Get the 1st down, and go from there. Don't just air it out every play." Quote Link to comment
hskrfan4life
yea we have been controlling the games. That first half seemed it never was going to end. Quote Link to comment
Texan in Nebraska
and this is the kley to beatin the Okies, control the clock whilst scorin on most of our possesions and TRY to get a few stops on D. Easier said than done, but thats the key, which should be pretty obvious enough. GO BIG RED!! BEAT OU!! Quote Link to comment
