RedCountry
DT was quoted as saying "if they got that Raiders coach Callahan, I would probably be interested in NU again". Rumor also has Bo P as Assis HC, and retaining his DC position. Maybe our recruiting class isnt F-D after all!!! This could be huge. Players will be pumped that Bo is still in the mix, and BC adds insta-cred. Im getting pumped. Quote Link to comment
N Zone
If Bo stays I say we get 3-5 commits within 48 hours of his announcement. Muy, Gallon, Manning, Ferguson, and possibly Owens. This recruiting class could be saved, but it will take an ass load of effort. Quote Link to comment
Pile
Bo is gone... the real question is does the new offense allow us to get some of the top players that have yet committed? or are we going to get too far behind... we shall wait and see... Quote Link to comment
N Zone
We will be able to keep the people we have and maybe even DT. However, even with DT we only have one QB in this class, and there is definite risk in losing him to the MLB draft in June. Callahan will go after some of the top notch QB's left out there uncommited and probably even some of the one's that are commited. Some of the top uncommited QB's include Rocky Hinds (from Cali) and Brian Brohm. Both would be wonderful additions. I think he will also be able to pull a top notch RB and some stud OL recruits out of his hat before we are all said and done. It will be a race to the finish, but I think it will be a better race than earlier anticipated. Quote Link to comment
BigRedMachine
So do we snag the FLA kids even w/out Bo? Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt
http://www.journalstar.com/corn.php?story_id=113212 Mortensen comments in this story that he feels DT would be a great fit in BC's new WCO at NU. Hopefully ol McD catches wind of this kind of talk. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
I think were going to pull about five kids nobody has even heard of and 2-4 that are all ready committed. Callahan is that good. I can't wait until he takes that trip to Florida. Very excited to see who will commit after that. Quote Link to comment
