CornHunka
Copied off ESPN's blog on the NFL Combine. New Kansas City general manager Scott Pioli spoke to the media Saturday from the NFL Combine in Indianapolis and described the type of player he is looking for as he tries to turn around the Chiefs, who won a total of six games in the past two seasons. "The same kind of player we're looking for with the 34th pick, that we'll look for in the third round, the fourth round ... big, strong, tough, smart, disciplined football players. That's the kind of team we're going to build. ... This is important here, because you get to see some things that are indicators, but most important is how these guys play football. Every program that I've been in that has been successful, we've gone out and found football players. The best moves we made player-personnel wise, is players who can play football; not necessarily guys who tested best or had the higher test scores. It's a mosaic of all this information that you piece together." Sounds exactly like Bo's plan to get the Huskers back to the level we all want them. Quote Link to comment
