Scarlet Overkill
I recently read an article about a spring practice at Wyoming, and it mentioned something about "keeping brown shirts earned". I thought it was only Nebraska that did that sort of thing, but maybe it's just the most famous. Is this something they do regularly, or is it a new tradition? Quote Link to comment

Actually Wyoming's "brown shirts" are modeled after Nebraska's Blackshirts. And, if I recall correctly, Western Michigan's defense has a goldshirt defense which is also modeled after the Blackshirts. You know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Quote Link to comment
