However, from what I've read about him, with the things he did, if they weren't NCAA violations then they were about as close as it gets. The vibe I received from Butler is that he's a cheap opportunist looking to make a quick buck off of the talents of recruits he represents. There's no question in my mind that he functioned as a sports agent. The bad part of all of this is that it'll basically ruin Bryce Brown's immediate future by making him ineligibile to play college ball. And without that college training and scouts being able to see game film of him, his chances of making it to the NFL become even smaller. Quote Link to comment
