HuskerNMO
I think not having Q did hurt us today, only because Watson never trusted Burkhead with the ball. Part of our red zone issues were that Helu carried us down there, was winded and then was on the sidelines. Rather than let Rex carry it, Watson threw it. I wonder if Watson would have trusted Q in those situations? Quote Link to comment

HuskerT
Helu was was incredible today, but he did seem to get tired (understandably so). It was pretty obvious that when Helu was out we were either passing or Lee was keeping. It was also obvious that Watson didn't trust anybody but Helu or Lee to carry the ball. I thought we played great today, I might question some of the goal line play calls, but you also got tip your hat to Vtechs D. They kept holding us to field goals which I knew was going to come back to haunt us. Quote Link to comment
ssfranny
How many of the third and shorts would we have picked up had castille still been on the team? You could see the Helu got tired in the secon half Or can someone explain to me why Burkhead wasn;t put in to get the 3rd or 4th and shorts?? I recall a couple 4th and 1s that he could've bulldozed through. Quote Link to comment
