JTrain
With a valiant effort but close loss this week against Texas, Nebraska would appear to be a fairly attractive choice for the Cotton Bowl, which is played in Cowboys Stadium (just like the Big 12 Championship game). Trivia: When was the last time a team played two consecutive non-home games in the same stadium, during the same season (so you can't count Clemson playing in the Georgia Dome to end the 2007 season and to begin the 2008 season)? Winner receives a copy of Carl Pelini's Guide to the Prevent Defense. Oh, and by the way, I don't know what the answer is... Quote Link to comment
knapplc
So, it's possible this has never happened? Quote Link to comment
JTrain
So, it's possible this has never happened? Possible, although unlikely I would think. Certainly an extremely rare occurrence at the very least. Quote Link to comment
UGAHusker
1992: 'Bama plays Auburn in the Iron Bowl at Legion Field in B'Ham and then plays the SEC Championship the next week against Florida, again at Legion Field. When do I get my book? Quote Link to comment
JTrain
I think I figured it out. It wasn't as difficult as I thought (more recent than UGA's answer). I won't give it away since I did say "trivia". Quote Link to comment
UGAHusker
What a dope I am! So it's USC in 2008? UCLA game then Rose Bowl? Quote Link to comment
JTrain
What a dope I am! So it's USC in 2008? UCLA game then Rose Bowl? Yup, that's the most recent one I could come up with. Although it would've been a much cooler trivia if your Legion Field answer was right. Quote Link to comment
