huskers1 Posted December 6, 2009 Share Posted December 6, 2009 I am certainly 100% proud of the team. We showed how damn tough we are as a defense. I think this sets the tone/attitude for the bowl game and the off season for a very special year next year. With a pretty soft non conference schedule and a lot of home games in conference while a lot of them are rebuilding I full expect us to run the table. okie states four best players are all gone along with 8 out of their 11 defensive starters. OU's firepower is gone except for broyles. Alexander and Spoon are gone at Mizzou. KU is in disaray and lose every good player they have. CU isn't in our league and texas loses their golden boy and shipley on O and Kindle on D. I think the three keys are if Steinkhuler can step in for Suh, Compton for Dillard, and Smith and Hagg for Asante and O'Hanlon. If they fill in adequately look the hell out. Quote Link to comment
