GoBigEd
Loved Bowman's responses to the second houndin' the Huskers: Coach Busch recruited me to Nebraska and I visited Nebraska on September 11th for the SOuthern Miss game and I like what I saw. I committed the day after the game, but a lot of schools kept calling me. Coach Busch was a little worried, but I told him that I am a man of my word, and that I would be in Lincoln. At first, I thought he (Coach Kennedy) was crazy. But then I realized that if I want to get better, Coach Kennedy could help me do it, that he could help me get to the next level like he has for other players. I like Coach Kennedy a lot. He will work you bet he is there to help you. Q: Did you have a favorite college team growing up on the East coast?A: Florida State, all the way. Q: Was there any desire to go there? A: No, not really. They called, but I told them that I had already committed to the University of Nebraska and that was where I wanted to be. Q: What is the best movie you have seen this summer?A: It would have to be "Star Wars: Episode III." I really like that movie. Sounds like he has a VERY good head on his shoulders. I can't wait to watch this guy! CoachCallahan.com Quote Link to comment
RedCountry
I like it! Sounds very level headed indeed. Quote Link to comment
Washusker
Although, he did say Episode III was the best movie he's seen... Let's just hope he didn't see many movies this summer!!! Quote Link to comment
hoyamannn
It's obvious he hasn't seen Wedding Crashers! Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan66
Sounds like a good kid! Sometimes you never know what you are getting into with the new guys coming on campus...He seems like a good person in general as well as a great player! Always good to have that combo on your team! Eric the Red
With Brooks injuried and the Huskers lack of big play wideouts, does Bowman move to, simply get a few reps on "O" or move the offense totally?? Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan66
I wouldn't be surprised to see a little "Troy Brown" from Bowman. With the athleticism he has, I would go right ahead and let him take as many snaps as he can, on whatever side of the ball. You have to have your best athletes on the field whenever possible.
