  1. Recruiting. It HAS to get better. We simply can't compete. Second, Bo's teams have zero discipline. ZERO. That has to change.
  2. offense is performing as usual, defense is performing as usual only on the slower side of things BO PELINI is coaching. Bo ain't playin' Douche. No sh#t. If you can't tell the difference in coaching I can't help.
  3. Oh good you're back! :palm: I am! Thanks for providing this outlet for my frustration! And yes, it is time to change coaches. BO is not an elite coach. Lets try again to find one...

  5. So when does Bo go on the hot seat?
  6. Need the personnel to do that. No Hagg or Gomes out there...
  7. Can we get Callahan back to recruit? And no, I am not kidding.
  8. It tool me a while, but I am officially off the Pelini bandwagon. We know the discipline talk is hot air, and he regularly gets outcoached, but did anyone notice that the recruiting isn't any good? Yay for mediocrity!
  9. Four years, people. He has had plenty of time to make his mark and so far, his mark is relative mediocrity. If you like finishing in the 18-25 range every year, he is the right coach. Is this team any better than it was last year? He isn't an elite coach, and I have 4 years of evidence to back it up.
  10. i understand that, but i never saw a more confused look, even Green seems to show better presence in the pocket now..let him compete, but grade his arm and ability to manage the game, not his breakaway speed...passing first, running last. This. This is why I suggest moving Martinez to another position. He makes HORRIBLE decisions when under duress. I know he's a frosh, but he had an entire season under his belt. He's got the potential to be a game-changer, but not at QB. As for the concerns that we'd be playing a 4th QB in 4 years - I get that, but so what? You have to find an answer, even if it takes a while. And if he decides to transfer, I'd lose no sleep. I think the bad might actually outweigh the good when it comes to Martinez at QB.
  11. I used to chalk up Martinez's struggles to youth and injury. After last night, I'm pretty convinced that the kid just doesn't have what it takes to play QB in a BCS conference. So why not move him to WR, but use him in a myriad of ways in the offense? He can run the sprint sweep out of the zone read (Marlowe usually does this when we run Wildcat). He can throw the ball on trick plays. He can run the Wildcat. He can be a deep threat out wide. You could easily get him 10 touches a game, out in space, with a predetermined play, and he could flourish. But he's not a quarterback, and can't be trusted to make a good decision under duress. I say approach him about moving to the outside, where he can better help the team. Thoughts? PS - I know he wants to play QB, and might just walk away from the program if he doesn't get his way - I'm ok with that, too.
  12. 1. Taylor Martinez is not a quarterback. 2. Bo Pelini is a great defensive coordinator. 3. We suck ass.
  13. Watson most certainly does have culpability for penalties, fumbles, drops, lack of development for QBs, etc. I don't understand why that is up for debate. If he truly is in charge of this offense, then its failures fall directly at his feet. And with good reason. For two straight years, this offense has been unable to carry this team. Sure, we saw brilliant performances in Seattle, Manhattan, and for one quarter against Mizzou. Yes, the offense won the game against OSU. But this team does not match up to legit championship contenders this year. Too many issues. If Watson truly was a keeper as an OC, we'd have seen more consistency from the offense. We'd see fewer mistakes. We'd see a real identity. Watson has had plenty of time to make this work. His unit is hindering, not helping the team achieve its goals. I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise. Time for a change.
  14. For all the talk of Pelini preaching discipline and attention to detail - this team SUCKS at playing disciplined football. Inconsistency, turnovers, penalties - blech. THere were some horrible calls last night, but the coaching staff has to take the blame for this loss. START COACHING BETTER.
  15. Three keys: 1. Tackle Gray. He's not as good as Kendall Hunter, but he's a dangerous guy who we have to keep contained. If we limit his big runs, the pressure lies squarely on Tannehill - and I think our DBs win that battle. 2. O-Line play. I've been quite underwhelmed with our O-line play this year. I think our new-found success running the ball has little to do with the line and all to do with T-Mart. These guys need to deliver against a very good A&M D-line and control the ball. The Aggies will get some points; we have to control the line of scrimmage. 3. Play with discipline. It is pretty amazing that this team's lack of discipline (hello, coaching staff!) has only cost one game. An early miscue, be it a turnover, a penalty, or giving up a big play on special teams, will be like throwing chum into the waters. If T-Mart were 100%, I'd like our chances. But I think momentum is a huge factor for college kids. Couple that with the locale, plus the fact that A&M has real talent, and I think we struggle. Hopefully T-Mart has been sand-bagging, but I see it 27-17, Aggies.
  16. So long as we get good line play on both sides of the ball, I'm not worried about it. Speed still rules.
  17. The fact that KU scored 35 in the 4th against CU means nothing. They also let CU kick their ass for 45 minutes. NU 45 KU 10
